High alumina brick

High alumina brick is a kind of refractory material, the main component is aluminum oxide, by bauxite or other high alumina content of raw materials formed by molding and calcination, according to the content of aluminum oxide is usually divided into one to three levels.The first class ──Al2O3 content >75%, the second class ──Al2O3 content is 60 ~ 75%; Third -- Al2O3 content is 48 ~ 60%.

Advantages

Degree of fire resistance

The refractoriness of high aluminum brick is higher than that of clay brick and semi-silicon brick, reaching 1750~1790℃, which belongs to senior refractory materials.

Softening temperature under load

Because of high Al2O3 in high aluminum products, less miscellaneous mass, the formation of fusible glass body less, so the load softening temperature is higher than clay bricks.

Slag resistance

High alumina brick has more Al2O3, which is close to neutral refractory material, and can resist the erosion of acidic slag and alkaline slag.

Application

High alumina bricks are mainly used for lining blast furnace, hot blast furnace, electric furnace top, blast furnace, reflector furnace and rotary kiln. In addition, high alumina brick is also widely used as open furnace regenerative lattice brick, plug head for pouring system, water brick and so on.
