Magnesia carbon brick with high melting point of alkaline oxide, magnesium oxide (melting point 2800 ℃) and hard to slag invasion of high melting point carbon materials as raw materials, all kinds of oxide additives. Non - burning carbon composite refractory with carbon binder. The main raw materials of magnesite bricks include fused or sintered magnesite, flake graphite, organic binder and antioxidant.

Advantages

Magnesia carbon brick, as a kind of composite refractory material, has effectively utilized the strong slag erosion resistance of magnesia, high thermal conductivity and low expansion of carbon, and compensated the biggest disadvantage of poor peeling resistance of magnesia. Its main characteristics are: good high temperature resistance, slag resistance, good thermal shock resistance, low temperature creep.

Application

Magnesia carbon brick is mainly used for lining of converter, ac arc furnace, dc arc furnace and slag line of ladle.
