Corundum brick

Corundum brick refers to alumina content more than 90%, with corundum as the main crystalline phase of refractory products. High compressive strength at room temperature (up to 340MPa). High initial softening temperature under load (greater than 1700℃). Good chemical stability, acid or alkaline slag, metal and liquid glass have strong resistance. The thermal shock stability is related to its structure, and the corrosion resistance of compact products is good. Divided into sintered corundum brick and fused fused corundum brick two. Sintered alumina and fused corundum can be used as raw materials or alumina clinker with high Al2O3/SiO2 ratio can be prepared by sintering method. Phosphoric acid or other bonding agents can also be used to make unburnt corundum bricks.

Application
